The NP7 Coaching Method is Nico Prien’s proven approach to windsurf coaching, developed from years of experience teaching hundreds of thousands of windsurfers through his YouTube videos and one-on-one coaching worldwide. His method is designed to make your windsurfing more controlled, effortless, and faster – helping you master everything from straight line speed and control to tacks and jibes. Nico’s coaching is simple, easy to understand, and tailored to each individual. By breaking down complex movements into clear, actionable steps, he ensures rapid progress while equipping students with a long-term roadmap for improvement. Within just this week of coaching, students see noticeable progress, but more importantly, you’ll leave with at least a year’s worth of knowledge on what to work on next.

Lake Garda is Europe’s most iconic windsurf destination – and for a good reason. In between high mountains and charming Italian villages, it offers reliable daily winds, warm spring temperatures, and some of the most scenic windsurfing you’ll ever experience.

In Torbole, the wind works like clockwork:

✅ Morning “Peler” (strong northerly breeze)

✅ Afternoon “Ora” (smooth southerly thermal wind)

During this time of the year we usually get the best conditions with Ora in the afternoon.

The mountains create a powerful channeling effect that makes Lake Garda one of the most reliable windsurfing spots in central Europe – with planing conditions on most days. Expect windsurfing sessions almost daily, flat-to-choppy water, an easy rigging and launching area with smooth rounded stones, and a vibrant windsurf community. Torbole has great wind statistics, so we will take advantage of the wind and maximize our time our time on the water. Here we have great conditions to practice and blast together on the water!

What the day-by-day looks like

Tuesday from 16.00
Arrival day
This day is dedicated to your travel to Garda lake, giving you time to arrive, settle in, and get comfortable before the experience begins. Throughout the week, we’ll maintain a flexible schedule to make the most of the best wind conditions, ensuring you get the optimal time on the water.
Wednesday
First meet, registration and coaching
On morning, after breakfast, we’ll gather at the windsurf center for a first meet-and-greet. We’ll go over what to expect from the week ahead and dive straight into our first preparation session. Once the wind settles in you will get to know the spot and we'll do the first session.
Thursday
Technique Series: Get faster & more control!
You may know a lot about sails, but mastering how to handle them is even more important. We start the day with a technique session focused on refining gear control and maximizing speed. Once the wind picks up, it’s time to put those skills into practice on the water.
Friday
Gamechanger: Video Analysis
On Friday, we’ll have gathered enough video footage to begin our video analysis session. This will give you a clear understanding of your mistakes and help you make significant progress by seeing exactly what to adjust. Past participants have found this to be a game-changer, leading to phenomenal improvements on the water. You can then take your newfound knowledge straight to the water, applying what you’ve learned in real-time for immediate improvement.
Saturday
Planing jibes on the horizon
If you still have energy on Saturday, we’ll take a deep dive into power jibes—covering how to execute your first ones, refine your technique, and ultimately master your first fully planing power jibe.
Sunday
Time go home
By Sunday, you’ll likely be feeling the week’s intensity, but we’ve reserved half the day for optional lessons, either on or off the water, depending on the group’s energy levels. The rest of the day is set aside for your journey back home.

Travels

General Policy

• All payments for sport travel packages are non-refundable.

NP7 Experiences

• Cancellations made up to 3 months (90 days) before the experience start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.

• Cancellations made less than 3 months before the experience start date are not eligible for any refund.

Daily, weekend or short Exeriences:

• If cancellation occurs due to lack of wind, 90% of the coaching fee will be refunded. The remaining 10% is retained to cover administrative costs.

• Refund policies for other experiences may vary. Please contact us directly to obtain the specific cancellation terms for these packages.

 

Coaching

Individual Coaching Sessions

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.

Coaching Packages

• If you wish to cancel a coaching package, refunds for unused sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

 

Events

General Policy

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event start date will receive a full refund, minus a 5% transaction fee.

• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the event start date will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event start date are not eligible for a refund.
