As a co-owner of Surfcenter and the creator of YouTube’s biggest windsurfing channel, he shares his expertise with a passionate global community. Known for his clear coaching style, deep knowledge, and friendly personality, Nico makes learning windsurfing both effective and fun.
Femke van der Veen
Femke is a Worldcup Slalom rider, 3rd in the world, but also the most humble lady you will find on the beach. Always approachable and always ready to give a good advice. She teaches everything from first steps on the board to blasting power jibes - and can't wait to hit the water with you.

What the day-by-day looks like

Monday
Arrival Day / Registration / Warm-Up
Arrive, Check-In at the Hotel and use the day to immerse yourself into the Caribbean vibes and enjoy your first session with equipment rental already included.
Tuesday
First Meet and Greet
On Tuesday morning, after breakfast, we’ll gather at the windsurf center for a first meet-and-greet. We’ll go over what to expect from the week ahead and dive straight into our first preparation session. Once the wind settles in you will get to know the spot and we'll do the first session.
Wednesday
Gaining knowledge and getting to know the spot
We’ve planned several theory lessons covering equipment and windsurfing techniques. Each morning kicks off with an in-depth session on sails, ensuring you know exactly what to look for when selecting and rigging your gear. As the wind picks up—typically around 11 or 12 AM—we’ll head out for two water sessions, riding until sunset.
Thursday
Technique Series: Get faster & more control!
You may know a lot about sails, but mastering how to handle them is even more important. We start the day with a technique session focused on refining gear control and maximizing speed. Once the wind picks up, it’s time to put those skills into practice on the water.
Friday
Gamechanger: Video Analysis
On Friday, we’ll have gathered enough video footage to begin our video analysis session. This will give you a clear understanding of your mistakes and help you make significant progress by seeing exactly what to adjust. Past participants have found this to be a game-changer, leading to phenomenal improvements on the water. You can then take your newfound knowledge straight to the water, applying what you’ve learned in real-time for immediate improvement.
Saturday
Planing jibes on the horizon
If you still have energy on Saturday, we’ll take a deep dive into power jibes—covering how to execute your first ones, refine your technique, and ultimately master your first fully planing power jibe.
Sunday
Time go home
By Sunday, you’ll likely be feeling the week’s intensity, but we’ve reserved half the day for optional lessons—either on or off the water, depending on the group’s energy levels. The rest of the day is set aside for your journey back home.

Travels

General Policy

• All payments for sport travel packages are non-refundable.

NP7 Experiences

• Cancellations made up to 3 months (90 days) before the experience start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.

• Cancellations made less than 3 months before the experience start date are not eligible for any refund.

Daily, weekend or short Exeriences:

• If cancellation occurs due to lack of wind, 90% of the coaching fee will be refunded. The remaining 10% is retained to cover administrative costs.

Other Experiences

• Refund policies for other experiences may vary. Please contact us directly to obtain the specific cancellation terms for these packages.

 

Coaching

Individual Coaching Sessions

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.

Coaching Packages

• If you wish to cancel a coaching package, refunds for unused sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

 

Events

General Policy

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event start date will receive a full refund, minus a 5% transaction fee.

• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the event start date will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event start date are not eligible for a refund.
