What’s Included in the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge Experience?

Exclusive Surfcenter DSC Speedsurfing Community

Become part of the exclusive Surfcenter Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge app group, where participants can:

  • Ask unlimited questions about gear tuning and setup
  • Share photos and videos of stance and technique
  • Receive direct feedback from coaches and experienced speed surfers
  • Exchange knowledge and motivation with fellow speed addicts
  • Stay updated on weather alerts and “PB conditions”

Personal Coaching & Speed Sessions

Train together with experienced Dutch speed sailors during one or more dedicated speed training days at Dutch speed spots in strong wind conditions.

Expect:

  • Face-to-face coaching on the water
  • Spot guidance and local knowledge
  • Tips on stance, trim, control, and confidence at high speed
  • GPS analysis and performance feedback
  • Coaching during real “beat your personal best” conditions with 30+ knots

Exclusive Video Call with Björn Dunkerbeck

As part of the experience, participants will join an exclusive videocall session with windsurf legend Björn Dunkerbeck.

Björn will share:

  • His speed sailing experiences
  • Training insights
  • Mental preparation tips
  • Equipment philosophy
  • Advice for improving your own speed performance

About the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge (DSC)

The Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge is a global virtual speed sailing competition where windsurfers from all over the world compete for the fastest 250 meter averages.

How it works:

  • Windsurf anywhere in the world
  • Record your fastest sessions using GPS
  • Upload your results to GPS-Speedsurfing.com
  • Compete against the global speed sailing community

The rankings are based on the highest average speed over 250 meters, measured via GPS.

Travels

General Policy

• All payments for sport travel packages are non-refundable.

NP7 Experiences

• Cancellations made up to 3 months (90 days) before the experience start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.

• Cancellations made less than 3 months before the experience start date are not eligible for any refund.

Daily, weekend or short Exeriences:

• If cancellation occurs due to lack of wind, 90% of the coaching fee will be refunded. The remaining 10% is retained to cover administrative costs.

Other Experiences

• Refund policies for other experiences may vary. Please contact us directly to obtain the specific cancellation terms for these packages.

 

Coaching

Individual Coaching Sessions

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.

Coaching Packages

• If you wish to cancel a coaching package, refunds for unused sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

 

Events

General Policy

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event start date will receive a full refund, minus a 5% transaction fee.

• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the event start date will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event start date are not eligible for a refund.
