This year marks a special milestone for Surfcenter as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. What started in 1976 as Windsurfing Shieldlake, a small local windsurf shop in Groningen, has grown into the Surfcenter we are today. To celebrate, we’re embracing a retro 80’s theme throughout the year, bringing back the energy, style, and spirit of the early days of windsurfing.

On Saturday, June 13, we’re celebrating Surfcenter’s 50th anniversary — and we’re going big!
We would love for you to join us for this special day full of watersports, fun, and great vibes.

Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:

Daytime: Fun at the Schildmeer
Hit the water together with several pro riders, test gear, learn new tricks, and enjoy an action-packed day full of stoke.

Evening: Party at a top location
We’ll wrap up the day at the City Beach of Groningen for an evening filled with great food, drinks, and an amazing atmosphere.

Including:

  • Autograph sessions with well-known riders
  • A raffle with awesome prizes
  • Music, fun, and surprises
  • And of course, plenty of Surfcenter vibes

Travels

General Policy

• All payments for sport travel packages are non-refundable.

NP7 Experiences

• Cancellations made up to 3 months (90 days) before the experience start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.

• Cancellations made less than 3 months before the experience start date are not eligible for any refund.

Daily, weekend or short Exeriences:

• If cancellation occurs due to lack of wind, 90% of the coaching fee will be refunded. The remaining 10% is retained to cover administrative costs.

Other Experiences

• Refund policies for other experiences may vary. Please contact us directly to obtain the specific cancellation terms for these packages.

 

Coaching

Individual Coaching Sessions

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.

Coaching Packages

• If you wish to cancel a coaching package, refunds for unused sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

 

Events

General Policy

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event start date will receive a full refund, minus a 5% transaction fee.

• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the event start date will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event start date are not eligible for a refund.
